Tee egg / City map

When I saw tea eggs, a traditional Chinese snack, I was surprised to realize that it was like a city map. Now that the virus has invaded almost every city in the world, so I hope to express these virus infestations in flowing colours and gradually devour each city
Tee egg
When I was a child, tea eggs have good memories for me to replace boiled eggs. I have always resisted hard-boiled eggs, resisted the smell of eggs brought by the direct entrance, and I do n’t know who calls that smell "fishy", and every time I secretly throw away the yolk. But as long as it's a tea egg, my taste buds can be fully accepted.
The tea egg really surprised me when I ate the tea egg made by Kathy in England. Maybe you can eat traditional Chinese tea eggs in the UK, or marvel at Kathy's cooking. I slowly peeled it off, and suddenly reminded me of the city map. The texture of each tea egg is different, random, unknown and surprising.
So I collected a lot of eggs around to do city project experiments.

These "maps" seem very familiar, like every city layout we live in, but if you look closely, they are not very similar.

I think maybe these maps are from food cities,
Maybe in the world of food, there is also a place called "Beijing"
Maybe in the world of food, there is also a place called "Marrakech"

Maybe in the world of food, there is also a place called "Antwerp"
Maybe in the world of food, there is also a place called "London"
During the filming, I don't know why I saw these eggs. In these cities, "No one is an isolated island" repeatedly appeared in my mind, but these "city" I photographed were more lonely at the moment of the outbreak.

Invisible viruses invade and devour almost every city in the world,
There seems to be a broken link between the cities,
You can’t fly to other cities at will, or explore interesting places in the city,
I hope to use the visual language of flowing liquid to represent the virus, expressing that the virus invades our lives and cities until we drown the memories of the city where we live.
The invisible virus turns into a colored liquid, making the invisible invasion dramatic and visible
The terrible virus is destroying, from another perspective, it is also reshaping and reflecting

For example, "Everyone is an independent individual, and each isolated room is an island. Loneliness exists. Breaking loneliness is not about putting yourself in the bustling, but how to get along with yourself. We have not seen it before. In seemingly noisy scenes, empty faces and lonely hearts, truly getting rid of loneliness, is to know how to feel comfortable when you are with yourself, without any uneasiness. "
-Some of my remodeling and reflection

After "City" was completely submerged ...
